Radio City Music Hall is a historic cultural and theatrical icon. Opened in 1932 by theater mogul S.L. “Roxy” Rothafel and dubbed “The Showplace of the Nation,” it was the first building in the Rockefeller Center complex and is celebrated for its stunning Art Deco architecture. With a seating capacity of around 6,000, the venue hosts a variety of events, including concerts, family shows, and special performances. It is also the home of the annual Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes. Over the years, the Great Stage has been graced by legendary performers such as Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, Diana Ross, Lizzo, Olivia Rodrigo, Josh Groban, Mariah Carey, Lorde, Trey Anastasio, Khalid, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, The Weeknd, Tony Bennett, Hasan Minhaj, Billie Eilish, Sebastian Maniscalco, Jim Gaffigan, and Dave Chappelle. Additionally, Radio City has hosted major events, including the Tony Awards, Grammy Awards, and America’s Got Talent, among many others.
